My Dreamweaver Website...

It finally worked. I found using DreamWeaver was an application that is easier said than done. I think I let my mind get ahead of my capabilities. When it was all said and done, I learned a ton. It does feel good to have linked this to my blog.

First Image Editing Project

This was my first image editing project before I switched to the one I have now. The difference is simply amazing. All I did here was play around with distort, and other options in the filter category. I only had two layers, because I got frustrated with a previous idea. I obviously did not utilize the tutorial as well as the underlining theme of this class, KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).

We need citizen journalism...
The title alone might give you an incite as to my position on the subject matter. What constitues a professional journalist? Going to school? Getting hired by a "professional paper"? Or is is simply someone who got lucky and gets paid to report the world happenings.
With the progression of technology and its easliy accesible nature, journalism can be executed by anyone from anywhere, and its great to hear that its more than a one sided opinion where the source could possibly be manipulated through such tactics as lobbying and PR.
In my opinion, early pioneers of journalism created a standard of journalism to make it seem like its a difficult thing to do. This concept is supplemented with the advent of "A.P. Style." Obviously, its just my opinion and not a concrete argument, but it is quite funny to see that with more and more amateur journalism surfacing, the real journalists are getting bitter.
